Dr. Taylor-Smith’s professional career in nursing spanned thirty one years. She received her Doctor of Philosophy degree in interdisciplinary studies with a specialization in Women’s Studies at the Union Institute and University in Cincinnati.

Since her retirement in 2003, she has served in many volunteer roles providing support and care for cancer patients and their families as well as peer support and counseling for women.

Dr. Taylor-Smith has led various Bible studies and seminars with such topics as commitment, prayer, health care issues, and retirement; however, her passion is the concerns surrounding the issues of women who are married to preachers/pastors. She and her husband are parents of four adult children and five grandchildren.

"You will enjoy this highly engaging speaker."
