Matthew 18:21-35
BIG IDEA: To understand what it means to be forgiven and to forgive others.
GET TALKING:
- There was a man who owed the King LOTS of money, but couldn't pay it back. What did the King do? (He forgave the man, and didn't make him pay it back.)
- The man ran into a friend who owed him a LITTLE money, but couldn't pay it back. What did the man do? (He put his friend in jail.)
- Who showed kindness in this story? (the King)
- Does God want us to only be kind to those that are kind to us? (No, God wants us to be be kind to EVERYONE!)
